the idea behind the name

In 1517, Martin Luther (a German priest of the Catholic chruch) posted a document on the door to his parish called the Nintey Five Theses, outlining all of the faults of the Catholic Church. The posting of this document practically sparked the Protestant Reformation in Europe.

The posting of a single "blog" i guess you could call it sparked a major movement throughout a whole continent. Same idea for here.

well, it wasnt the faults of the RCC, per se. it was more things he wanted clarification on. interestingly, it isnt like he wanted to not be Catholic. common misconception.
